We provide detailed installation instructions that allow most homeowners to install this system themselves. All it takes is some basic plumbing skills and some common knowledge! Activated alumina is capable of removing lower levels of fluoride, arsenic, and lead from your water. Lead and arsenic can sometimes be found in ground water supplies. Fluoride is commonly found in municipal water supplies. Excessive levels of any of these contaminants can cause mild to severe health problems. Additionally, activated alumina DOES NOT add any harmful chemical or substances to your water during filtration. This system is not recommended for arsenic levels significantly exceeding the 10 ppb. 010 ppm of arsenic recommended by the EPA.
