This activated carbon filter reduces particulate down to 15 micronss nominal for all incoming water. The universal design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems. Aqua-Pure AP910R Whole House Replacement Filter Cartridges helps to reduce iron and particulate in up to 100,000 gallons of water, a typical years supply dependant on water quality, before replacement. The cartridges have a high flow rate, providing up to 20 gallons (75.7 liters) of filtered water per minute. A sanitary design minimizes spills and keeps filtration media enclosed during change-outs.
