The increased depth of the filter media provides for very high particulate reduction efficiencies and makes it an excellent choice for all residential, rural, municipal and commercial applications. Dual-Gradient Density (DGD) offers a 50 micron pre-filter and 5 micron post-filter in one cartridge. Effective filter depth is increased to a full 233% of standard spun-polypropylene or string-wound filters. Spun fibers form a true gradient density from outer to inner surfaces.
